Welcome to St. Barnabas Episcopal Church

St. Barnabas Episcopal Church is a congregation in the Episcopal Diocese of New Hampshire.  We are located at 2 High Street in Berlin, NH.  Our worship is centered in Holy Communion - a sharing of bread and wine - to which are all welcome.  We take the Bible seriously, but not literally - wrestling with the texts each week in Bible Study and sermon.

Lenten Study

During Lent, our adult study group, which meets on Tuesday evenings, will be studying the prophets, using the book and DVD Embracing the Prophets in Contemporary Culture, with Walter Brueggemann.  This video and discussion will help us to see similarities between our culture and the culture of the people of Israel during the time the prophets were writing.

If you are interested in joining us, please call the church office to reserve a book.  The cost of the book is $12.95; scholarships are available.

We meet on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 - 8pm in the Undercroft.
