OMG! - Our Magnificent God!!
FIRST WEDNESDAY OF THE MONTH
November 2, 2016 through April 5, 2017
A Multi-Generational Christian Experience at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, Berlin, New Hampshire.
This is an alternative to traditional “Sunday School” and brings together people of all ages. Sometimes it is difficult for families to get to church on Sunday mornings, so this is a way for them to share in Christian Formation at a more convenient time. What is it and what do we do”? Following the practices of the Episcopal Church, We Show Up. On the first Wednesday of each month, as Christ’s presence in the Church and in the World. As disciples, learners, and listeners. We share food. With each other at a family style meal to begin our evening together. We tell the Story. Of creation, of God’s passion for justice, peace, holiness, humanity, life. Of Jesus and his disciples. Our own stories. God surprises. Through communities in Christ, growing within and beyond our walls. By meeting new people, and learning new things, getting our hands dirty, playing, and praying. We hope that you can join us at any or all of our programs! |
