At St. Barnabas, we believe that all people are always welcome.  No matter who you are or where you've come from, you will find that our doors are wide open and so are we.  Here at "The Open Door" folks from St. Barnabas will be reflecting on life, faith, our church community, really whatever strikes their fancy.  We hope you will come on through our open door and join us.

If you are wondering why our "open door" is red, it is because lots of Episcopal churches use bright red doors. It dates back to the middle ages. A person being persued could receive sanctuary if they could just make it to the door of the church. Sometimes there was a big metal hoop as the door handle. If they were hanging on to that handle, no one could take them away. Our church is a place of sanctuary as well. No matter who or what is chasing you, you can come be welcome and safe with us.
